1. Experienced Commercial Estimator:

Copeland Group is looking to recruit an experienced, enthusiastic estimator to join our Commercial Department. Computer skills are essential and experience of working with Estimation and NSR software beneficial. Salary commensurate with experience. Excellent conditions of employment with fringe benefits.

As a minimum requirement you must:

  • Have previous estimating experience on commercial and industrial projects for both the public and private sector
  • Be able to interpret electrical design and tender documentation
  • Have the ability to accurately quantify material, plant and labour requirements 
  • Be able to ensure that pre-designed project enquiries relating to material, sub-contract, plant and labour are satisfactorily dealt with regarding quantities, information, contractual and trading particulars
  • Be able to prepare client documentation on completion of tender for timely submission
  • Prepare and deliver progress and tender-project reports directly to the Commercial Manager and Directors

2. Trainee Electrical Estimator:

We are looking for a trainee electrical estimator to assist with preparing and pricing tenders for commercial and industrial projects from initial enquiry to receipt of order.

Experience within the electrical contracting industry is a pre-requisite, however all estimating training will be provided, including use of various estimating software packages.

Every year we have a number of places available for committed enthusiastic individuals aged between 16 and 19 years of age. We have apprenticeship places available towards:

  1. JIB graded electrician status
  2. Specialist Fire Alarm Installation and Commissioning Engineer
